ICC Rankings of Indian batsmen in Tests:- After India whitewashed New Zealand by 3-0, ICC released latest Test Rankings for batsmen, bowlers and all-rounders. Currently, India is at No.1 spot in the latest Test ranking for teams. 7 Indian batsmen made it possible in the top 50 in ICC rankings for batsmen. 6 - Ajinkya Rahane


Ajinkya Rahane, currently one of the best test batsman in India, has scored 347 runs in the New Zealand test series as he scored 18,40,77,1,188 and 23* in the three match test series. Now he is at 6th spot in the ICC Test basmen rankings and this is his highest ranking in Test format.


14 - Cheteshwar Pujara

Cheteshwar Pujara, who scored most runs (373) in the test series between India and New Zealand, has been promoted to the 14th place in the ICC rankings. He scored 3 fifties (62,78 & 87) and a hundred (101*) in this series.


16 - Virat Kohli


Indian Test team skipper Virat Kohli failed to continue his brilliant form in this series. He failed to score a fifty in first test of the series and scored a double century in the third test. He became the first Indian captain to score two double hundred in tests.


23 - Murali Vijay


Murali Vijay might not be fearsome but he is consistent. He scored 186 runs including two fifties in the test series against New Zealand. His consisent is the reason for his improvement in Test ranking

37 - Rohit Sharma





Another talent from India, Rohit Sharma is at 37th spot in the ICC Test ranking for batsmen. When everyone fails to score runs or make a partnership, Rohit Sharma gives hope for his fans with his brilliant performance as he scored 238 runs in this series including 4 fifties.



44 - Shikhar Dhawan




Indian left-hand opener Shikhar Dhawan failed to maintain his consistency in this series as he scored just 76 runs in this series. After he suffered from an injury, he ruled out for the third test as Gambhir made his comeback after 2 years in tests. Dhawan is at 44th spot in the ICC Test ranking for batsmen.





50 - Ravichandran Ashwin



Ravi Ashwin, who is starring with both bat and ball, is the No.1 Test bowler and No.1 all-rounder in Test. He also finds the place in the ranking of batsmen as he scored 71 runs in this series and picked up 27 wickets.
